London day 3!

Today was our third day in London. The first thing we did was go to Buckingham Palace, it is really pretty and big (love to live there :D)! 

Second we took the Underground to the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum. They were both very interesting and fun. 

After we went to the London Eye, it's huge! It took us about 25mins to go around the whole thing. The sight was really cool!



The next thing we did was see a 4D movie about London and the London Eye. It was really cool, we got rained on, snowed on and mist around our ankles! Cool! 

We then went into the London Film Museum, it had original models, scripts, costumes and sets from loads of movies. Sam and I had our Photo taken in one of the original sets of Star Wars. It was one of the space ships with C3P0 and R2D2. It was awesome! 

     

Day 2 in London

Today was our second day in London. We first went on a boat trip to Greenwich, we went to the Greenwich Royal Observatory and saw the Prime Meridian line, one of the first clocks, the first clock able to work on the ocean and the 7th largest lens telescope in the world. Then we had lunch at the Greenwich Arms pub, it was nice.

We then took the monorail to Tower Hill and went to the Tower of London. We had a guided tour of the Tower with one of the Beef Eaters as our guide, he was funny. The Tower of London is very old, we saw the Torture chambers, Medieval parts of the Tower, the Prison chambers and the Crown Jewels! The Crown Jewels were so beautiful, so shiny and so old!
Lastly we walked home, we saw the London Eye at night, it was BLUE!

 

The first few days

I'm in Brunei !!!:) Brunei is a country close to Indonesia and Malaysia and all those places. This is the first stop on the way to London. The plane trip was 5hrs long and we are spending 26hrs here. The plane trip from here to London is 16hrs long with a 20min stop over at Dubai. We are on a plane with back-of-the-seat-TV's!!!!!! Tomorrow we leave at 9:20pm and get to London at 7:00am, so we follow the night :(

What we did was, walk. We walked lots, first from the hotel to the city centre and back. We saw two Mosques, they were huge, we saw the river, grave yards ( behind the hospital), a water village, water taxis and lots of houses and cars. The weather was hot and humid. 

We made it !! After a three day journey of planes and airports we finally  made it to London!!!! We arrived at 7:00am London time (3:00pm Australian time) and then went on the underground train to Trafalgar Square. Our hotel is called the Citadines Apart’ Hotel, it's really nice. We then went on a bus tour around the city of London and saw the Tower of London, Big Ben, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace and lots of old london things. We then had lunch and went to this 7 story toy shop called Hamley’s Toy shop. It was really fun but everything is so old. After all the traveling we fell asleep at 5pm.
